I love a good infographic so I do! So when MakeSpace.com shared their new research about clutter with me – which I totally agree with – I thought you guys would really enjoy reading these insights too.
I am a big believer that our surroundings, our space and our stuff greatly affect our wellbeing, our relationships, our work and home lives. If you are fighting with your wardrobe first thing in the morning, running late getting the kids out to school, losing important paperwork and are constantly going from one fire to the next, this is not good for your mental or physical health. Clutter isn’t just what you see, it’s distractions, notifications, saying “yes” when you want to say “no”. All of that is cluttering up your life! Getting organised helps with this.
If you’re still not convinced, check out the Make Space infographic below and see if it ticks any boxes for you. They studied clutter and how it affects us on every single level. They analyzed studies and interviewed doctors, psychotherapists and other professional organizers to get the hard facts.
