We’re gearing up for the 2017 series of our 21 Day Get Organised series here at OC HQ! Learn more about it below or click over to our You Tube channel for the introductory video!
We started this last year and we’re delighted to be doing it again. Three weeks, 21 tasks and you! Taking different categories of items around your home, we’re setting a challenge and a time limit for each one to help you declutter that category…or at least get started on it. And hopefully have a bit of fun with the OC community while you’re doing it.
The time limit is really important with this series. Sometimes it might seem very short, but that’s the point. Very often people put off doing decluttering because they think it’ll take too long. Then others who do get stuck in, get fed up because they spend too long at it. The key with effective decluttering is short, regular bursts.
Do not get bogged down trying to get these tasks fully finished. It won’t work. You want to start, create a habit, start getting used to more declutter, enjoy it a little bit more. It’s not the quantity of the work, it’s the quality of it. Here’s a look at the tasks that are coming up. You can decide which ones you’d like to dip in and out of or you could try do all of them!
Please let us know how you’re getting on. We have lots following us, but you are all quite shy to let us know how your decluttering is going. Share your journey with us…there are other people on our social media that could benefit. And for us, we love getting suggestions for content that we can create that may help you more!
On Sunday, we’ll upload our introduction video. This will explain how the next three weeks are going to run. On Monday it’s the first challenge which you will be encouraged to try every day for the next three weeks. Then on Tuesday, it’s the first category task!
Make sure to subscribe to our You Tube channel and as soon as we post a video, you’ll get an email notification. Easy peasy! And spread the word, we’d love to get even more people involved this year!
Good luck & Happy Organising!
