Hi everyone,
To celebrate International Women’s Day, I thought I’d share some inspirational women who help me every day with my business…and my life!
I’ll start off with some Organising ladies…but of course…
For organising…
I Heart Organizing
Jennifer Jones is the Girlboss on the I Heart Organizing blog. She has been blogging for the last few years and has been dubbed “the most organised woman on the internet”. And she sure is that.
Her organising is not only brilliant and practical, but it is so fun, colourful, and shows the high class interior design that organising can give to your home. It’s no wonder she almost has half a million website views per month!
She focusses on organising, DIY, decorating and she also does very lovely checklists and planners which she sells through her Etsy shop.
For other bloggers she is very good at sharing what she has learnt with regards photography, software etc. I have learnt a lot from her.
Clean My Space
Following closely from the “most organised woman on the internet” is the “cleanest place on the internet” – the Clean My Space blog by Canadian Melissa Maker.
Starting out on You Tube, Melissa has built up a fab blog and business to help you clean literally every nook and cranny of your home.
Herself and hubby Chad are not only great at giving cleaning advice, but their videos are fun and funny too!
At almost two million video views a month, this is definitely one to check out!
For business…
Next up, is Marie Forleo. Now this woman is FULL of energy! I really enjoy what she has to say. She makes great videos, has brilliant interviewees and gives some great advice – for business and life.
Mainly I like her because I can see how much work she is putting in to her business. She looks like she has worked her ass off. And fair play to her! Check out marieforleo.com
To relax…
While I love clothes, and love to shop, I’m not a mad fashionista by any stretch of the imagination. But I really enjoy the Retro Flame blog.
Erika is Irish but is based in New York. Her posts are mainly fashion, but she also speaks about travel, interiors and lifestyle in general. Her posts are just the right length and have lovely photos. Erika is also on Snapchat, and she comes across as not only a very nice person, but someone who works very hard. She just also happens to have New York as a backdrop – and sure who doesn’t like watching and reading all about that!
And last but definitely not least…some #GIRLBOSSES close to my heart and who have personally added greatly to my life and business.
It’s not easy to start a business… and these ladies are offering inspiration, creativity, forward thinking and showing downright hard work and professionalism.
They are carving out their space on the internet and life as a #GIRLBOSS so please check them out. Share their posts, like their tips, subscribe to their blogs, tell them what problem you’re having so they can adjust their service, comment! It’s not easy and I’m sure, like me, we appreciate and need every bit of support & input that we can get!
My sister, Irish Furniture Designer and the woman behind the As If From Nowhere. . . furniture. This woman works
so hard it’s impossible to put into words. Not only is she a very talented designer, but what she has had to learn about business – essentially on her own and in a very short space of time, is inspirational. She is creative, and never gives up.
Her designs are focussed on space saving pieces of furniture, click here to see more.
The lady who designed my website with me is up next.
Dyann is from Canada and at the helm of Creatively Content. And if anyone could give me a run for my money on organisation, it’s this woman! Which was perfect when it came to creating a website for an organising company. She is a very talented and creative website designer and digital marketing specialist. She just ‘gets’ it!
And just in case it gets a little too much, this business-running-lifestyle of ours, there’s this gal!
Veronica and I had a great ole laugh in Vienna for a few days many years ago, yet are still in touch. Another Canadian to the mix here – isn’t it mad I’ve three Canadian women in my list!
She’s recently started a lovely business in the area of wellbeing. Her posts are inspiring, full of gratitude and just lots of good positivity! Stay tuned to this as it grows!
Hope you enjoyed this post, I really enjoyed putting it together.
To all the women out there – my clients, followers, fellow entrepreneurs, mammys, aunties, friends…
and the men who support us too…Happy International Women’s Day!
Happy Organising!
