Hi everyone,
It can be a whole bag of craziness getting out the door, hectic schedules and fights over homework as September begins. So here at Organised Chaos we’re going to help you with one of those situations and sort out your family’s routine before school.
If you were on our social media yesterday, you will have seen our post about Organising a Morning routine and we suggested a few ways to help your mornings run a little smoother.
Today’s checklist is to take you a step closer to that A+ for organisation! In fact, it’s our second checklist this week! In case you missed it, we also have an Evening Routine checklist up on our Free Resources section.
On the checklist today, we have clear spaces for you to fill in the different tasks that have to be completed each morning before leaving for school. It’s also divided up across the week so that your little ones can tick off each tasks as they complete it every day. Why not print off a checklist for each child and put it in the kitchen or hallway. I’d suggest having it downstairs because if it’s left in their bedrooms, they won’t be able to follow it as the morning progresses. You need it close to hand for easy reference.
To fill in the tasks – such as “brush teeth” , “pack schoolbag”, “add lunch”, “get notes signed” – you can either do it by hand, or the checklist is interactive, so you can fill it in on your computer and then print it off.
We hope it helps! Let us know if you are using it and what do you do in the morning to help you get out the door stress free?
Happy Organising!
