Hi everyone,
Wow it’s almost the end of 2016…where did the year go! I hope you had a lovely Christmas day and are getting a few days off at least.
As I write this it’s the Winter Solstice today and so my thoughts are with the Winter season. I’ve also been reading about the Hygge (pron. ‘Hoo-ga’) tradition from Denmark. This tradition is all about creating the cosiness of Winter in your home and your life.
So with that in mind, I started browsing Pinterest and I was drawn to to lovely cosiness, rustic scenes, images of skiing, and luxurious chalets. As you’re taking it easy this Christmas, why not browse through some of my favourite pins that I found.
This room reminds me of the nicest hotel I ever stayed in…it was the epitome of warmth and rest.

Bathroom goals…! Simple, white…and my favourite subway tiles! Using a Winter colour palette of greys, whites and blacks beautifully!

A life goal would be to own a chalet and ski in and out all Winter long!

Layering in Winter isn’t just for our clothes, layering with textures through our interiors not only looks fabulous but it portrays cosiness, relaxation and staying indoors.

Keeping ourselves feed and well nourished throughout Winter would be a lot easier with a pantry like this…!

Remember to take care of yourself during Winter, and rest well!

Happy Organising!
