Our Favourite Things for an Organised Year

Hi everyone,
As the sales have kicked off, we thought we’d share a few of our favourite things that you might also like to help 2020 be super organised. What do you use to help you stay organised? Let us know! We love new ideas and our followers would love some tips too. Comment below or pop over and share with us on Instagram @organisedchaosireland

Hang it

We can’t talk about organising without mentioning slimline hangers. If you’re struggling to make space in a wardrobe. Or want any sort of instant facelift to this space, then you need matching hangers…and slimline ones at that. STAT! You can thank us later. These are our favourite.

Plan it

Personally, these Kikki K planners are divine! I saw them on a recent trip to London and I was very tempted to buy, but decided to wait for a bit. I don’t know why I thought waiting was a good idea. These are just fab looking even if you just hold them and never plan a thing!

Sleek, simple, fits

I can’t list some of my favourite things and not mention the IKEA VARIERA containers. There are millions of containers out there, but you just can’t beat these. They literally fit everywhere. Crisp white, means they look instantly classy and are easy to keep clean. My go to storage solution.

Keeping track of it all

For me, I usually always go for a notebook with a spiral on it. I can’t stand when you’re turning a page that the page doesn’t turn completely, so I opt for spiral. The only exception to this is when I find a Leuchtturm notebook. I adore these notebooks and I have absolutely no idea why, I just do. I haven’t found my 2020 notebook yet, but I am on the case!

Everything in order

Paper is one of the hardest things to keep organised. And if you’re going to invest time and energy sorting out your paperwork, you better have nice stationery to keep it all in order. I adore anything by Russell & Hazel. If nice stationery waiting for you at the end of paper decluttering doesn’t keep you motivated, I don’t know what will.

For your Travels

We love using packing cubes when we’re going away. They keep your suitcase neat and tidy, all the different bits and pieces you need are categorised, and it’s super easy to unpack at your destination. There are so many brands out there, but the ones I got are here.

Organised – Simple Tips to Declutter your House, your Schedule and your Mind

And of course, I can’t forget this little piece of non-fiction. This book is broken down into four sections. First we start with the psychology of clutter and why you’re feeling overwhelmed. Next we look at your time and how to get more of it. Then we get stuck into every room the home. And finally, part four comes back around to you again and how to make this lifestyle change stick. Did you know it’s endorsed by Oprah? You can check that out here…I know, we couldn’t believe it either!

And don’t forget, one of our favourite things to do is to help YOU organise! If you hate your bedroom, need to move, overwhelmed with paper, the toys are driving you mad…there’s an Organiser for that!

Happy Organising!
