Hi everyone,
We’ve just uploaded a new checklist!
As mentioned in our post about organising an effective homework station, making sure that the students in your household have the stationery supplies they need will help them to be more productive.
Pens run out, staplers go missing and folders break. With that comes frustration, disorganisation and procrastination. Whereas if you have all your stationery organised and together in one place, then it’s easy to replace, find and fix everything. Meaning there’s no time wasted and no excuses to leave work until later.
Similarly if you have a student that is quite messy and you’re worried about their focus and the organisation of their schoolwork, then having stationery supplies nearby may help. I’m not saying that stationery is what organises a child but certainly they won’t get organised without it. If they are surrounded in paper, nothing is filed away, there are pieces of schoolwork spread about the house that could be going back years, then it needs to be corralled. And doing that is A LOT easier if you have the right tools…in this case – stationery.
So in our Free Resources section is a list of stationery supplies that I recommend every student – whether primary or secondary – have in their arsenal. Some of these things may be in their pencil case or school bag. And the rest are in ONE spot in the home – preferably close to where they do their home.
You can download the checklist and print it off for free. I hope it’s useful!
Happy Organising!
