About Our Home Organising Services

An organised home can change your life. This isn’t just about having everything tidy. It’s about peace of mind, enjoyment, relaxation, pride and stability in your home for you, and the people you love the most.
For our Decluttering and Organising, we actually come in to your home and physically help you to declutter your things and organise them so that you can breathe again. Each project is custom to suit you, your family and the habits of the home. From decluttering to remove heavy stagnant energy to custom zones, good storage solutions and organised systems we reduce friction and bring ease to the everyday use of your home.
The details:
Sessions last 6 hours and the number of sessions you need depends on:
- How much stuff you have
- The speed of your decision making
- What is excavated underneath (that we may not have seen in consultation)
You can work with 1 Organisers, or a team of up to 4 depending on the project and how fast you’d like the work done.
We can work around kid pickups and if you’re working from home – we do it all the time.
We need you mainly in the morning which is when the decluttering decisions are done. Then in the afternoon, we move onto the organisation. We may have one or two more questions for you, but usually this is when we work our magic!
We advise on storage solutions that you will need. We can either provide you with a Storage Shopping List with details on exactly what to get, where and quantities. Or, you can relax and we’ll source the products for you (additional fee) (storage products extra).
At the end of the day you’ll have clear, organised spaces and the ultimate feeling of relief!
While you’re looking at your beautiful plans, are you also wondering… will all of your things actually fit?
Over the years, we’ve been called into many homes after renovations where the homeowner says, “The space looks beautiful, but our things still don’t fit”
We want to help you avoid that.
Whether it’s a kitchen, utility, wardrobe etc., with our Space Planning Service, Sarah will review your plans alongside everything you need to store, ensuring nothing has been overlooked. She’ll look over your drawings, provide practical feedback, and work with you and your designer to make sure every item has a home.
The result? A space that functions and flows just as beautifully as it looks.
Want to take it a step further?
Bring us in before the planning stage to declutter first. This allows us to be even more efficient and ensures your plans are designed around exactly what you need from the very beginning.
One of the biggest stressors in anyone’s life is when moving home and it’s very often left to the woman to carry the load of organising everything. Our Organisers are there to support you from pre-move, to moving day and post-move set up.
We can help you to declutter, making sure you’re only moving what you really love to your new home, reducing your moving company costs and avoiding the need for a storage unit.
We can be there on moving day to coordinate the move. Very often it’s a group of men doing the move, and having women there can be very reassuring for our clients.
Once the move is done, we can unpack and organise everything for you. Boxes are removed, new storage is put into place and clear, steady systems are set up so that you have a supportive, organised environment right from the start as you begin your new life in your new home.
We can be as hands on as you wish. Whether you just need help before the move, or would like a full Concierge-style approach, we can discuss a package that works for you and your family.
While they can be handy, they are also costing you a fortune! They’ll have to be cleared out eventually, so why not now? A team of 2 Organisers are always on these projects for health and safety reasons and we will help you to clear it out, make decisions what’s staying and what’s going and help you bring it back to your home.
A great service to tie in with our Declutter and Organise service so that you have the space at home to take some things from the storage unit back with you and close this expense off for good!
EXCELLENT Based on 35 reviews Posted on Fiona TimlinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Having a visit from Organised Chaos brings a real breath of fresh air through my house! Sarah is so pleasant to work with. She assesses the situation quickly and without any judgement. By the time she leaves things have been categorised and put in order. She also leaves a plan to work on going forward. Thank you Sarah!Posted on Mary WalshTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sarah and Lorraine did an excellent job organising our home and home office, putting practical systems and storage in place. As a busy household, also working from home, it has made our day-to-day far more efficient and less stressful. Highly recommend.Posted on Ioanna TalaslidouTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I couldn’t recommend Organized Chaos enough! Sarah is friendly and professional. She transformed my closet and storage room in less than two days and also gave me tips on how to keep everything organized.Posted on Ursula BeecherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Every interaction with Sarah was professional with a personal touch - from initial assessment of needs, to my declutter and subsequent follow-up. I now have a storage system which is organised and it's easier to find things. Working with Sarah has energised me to declutter and organise other areas in my home, so the journey continues!Posted on Orla LehaneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was a brilliant service and I would use it again - in fact I will use it again! It is amazing what having someone there to make sure things get done, things get filed and archived, and thrown out does. The space went from a dust covered mess to a clean and tidy space with an organized system for next steps.Posted on UrsulaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A very beautiful shopPosted on Joanna SchaffTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service that brought much needed calm to a very chaotic and cluttered space. Sarah and her team transformed my kids' bedroom from a place they didn't want to be, to the new hang out space. It has also motivated me to be more ruthless with the clutter still in my house.Posted on Aoife Honohan ActorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sarah helped me to declutter and organise my kitchen and under my stairs and I couldn’t be happier with the whole process and the results! It has made a huge difference to me in terms of taking away the daily stress of clutter and a kitchen that wasn’t functioning well. I am delighted that I finally got Sarah’s help (I have been thinking about it for a long time). It was money very well spent!!Posted on Sarah DeenyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Trying to stay on top of a teenage girls bedroom is a challenge and a half. Mountains of clothes, layers of jewellery, memory boxes, make up palettes to cover the Met Gala not to mention the hair and nail supplies.....from the start of the project Sarah at Organised Chaos understood the brief, was clear on the ask and throughout the process was a real pleasure to work with. She gave oodles of choice in furniture and storage, organised the assembly of the furniture and personally sorted the entire bedroom into a haven of calm and serenity that both mum and teenage daughter were delighted with. I couldn't recommend her more highly!

A skilled PO never simply applies a one-size-fits-all solution, rather they work closely with their clients to find specific organising solutions tailored to their space and circumstances. They offer support, direction and clarity, guiding you through the process of getting organised and teaching skills to help you maintain your newly organised space or schedule.

No, please don’t tidy up before the home assessment! In order to fully assess what aspects of organisation provides the most challenge in the home and to see exactly what clutter (if any) is present, we need to see everything as it usually is.
Every home has some clutter and disorganisation to it, and it’s natural to feel self conscious, but please don’t be embarrassed. We understand that there can be many different reasons for why disorganisation takes place and we have seen it all. Trust us, we are not really looking at the mess, we are looking for the opportunities that lie beneath!
Our home assessments are 60-90 minutes.
Decluttering and organising sessions are three (3) hours.
It’s ideal for clients to be at home during our session(s) because we create custom solutions to work with your habits and way of thinking. If we organised spaces based on what’s logical to us, we’d be able to find your things but you wouldn’t! Also, with de-cluttering, you need to decide what stays and what goes.
However, on occasion, we can tailor our sessions so that you are not required too much.
The number of sessions required depends on the amount of clutter and the number of rooms you would like organised and the speed at which you are comfortable working.
For some people the sessions can be quite overwhelming as making decisions can bring up emotions and anxiety, we are, of course happy work at our client’s pace and won’t rush you through a decision which may be difficult .
However, others are fed up with the disorganisation in their home and fly through the decisions, which means they get more work done per session. So it really is the speed of decision making that determines the number of sessions.
As a rule of thumb, however; a standard room takes at least two sessions. Spare rooms are, surprisingly, usually the quickest. Offices and workspaces take longer as they often (but not always) involve paper. Attics and garages usually take the most time.
We can guarantee that you will see results from the very first session with our professional organisers. Physical space will open up during the first session, and you will feel better not only within the space in question, but within yourself too.
However, with all our services, you understand and agree that your success in achieving organisational change and lifestyle improvements will come from enhancing our sessions with work between sessions and applying our advice, tips and techniques — this depends on you and your commitment to the process.
